PLATO™ Business Management Programme

When we’ve talked to people about developing or honing leadership and management development skills in their business, they’ve told us that they value learning most from the experience and knowledge of their peers in a non-academic environment.

PLATO GB Limited provides programmes which focus on the owners, leaders and decision makers within small and medium sized businesses (SMEs), enabling them to develop and enhance leadership and business skills and knowledge which will make a positive difference to their business.

Based on peer-group learning principles, PLATO™ is a tried and tested leadershp and business development programme targeted at small and medium-sized businesses enabling forward thinking individuals to learn from people like themselves.

PLATO™ is unique in that senior executives from large companies and owner-managers, chief executives or senior-level director decision makers from smaller companies are brought together to share knowledge and experience, develop best practice and form close working relationships. PLATO™ groups are led by executives from larger companies whose objective is help SME participants access high quality, low cost practical business solutions to help them to grow their businesses in size, turnover, skills and profitability.

The core PLATO™ programme focuses on generic business isuues and is available locally. New programmes are currently being set up in collaboration with University Business Schools in Hampshire and Dorset.

PLATO SUSTAIN is a programme operating across the south east region helping SMEs improve their business sustainability, encouraging them to feed this improvement through to their supply chains and employees and adopt environmentally friendly behaviour.
